A big congratulations on the wonderful initiative. It's heartening to see all those many ideations - random and structured - taking first baby steps towards creating a confluence of minds and arts for some meaningful socio-cultural chintan and manthan.

I would like to wish the team all the very best and huge success for upcoming Yatha Katha International Film and Literature Festival towards end of the year.

I am very happy to be here... this is the first edition and I hope there will be another edition and I will be there too. There are beautiful programs. In Quebec, we are big producers of movies and we work with Hollywood studios in Los Angeles... We have lots of studios of photography and vfx and we want to share our knowledge with the rest of the world and we produce a lot of movies in Quebec, so that's why we are here to promote the producers and movies from there. We also like to share our experience and we also want to learn how to manage big festivals like this.

YathaKatha, my heartfelt thanks for the award you have given me… recognition of this kind is always welcome and helpful to a writer whether he is a young one or a middle age writer or an elderly one like me. So thankyou very much… It encourages me, it gives me the desire to go on writing, to please many readers and my blessings there for all of you… good luck…good reading … good writing … Thank you !

Thank you for inviting me. I am always happy to come for an event where students are there because I find them very stimulating and I am always learning from them. I think you all should do this every year because it is a great meeting round for literature, for cinema and for experiences to be shared.

The very fact that literature and films have come together is a very important combination and most of us don't realize that good films come from good literature... So literature is a starting point for cinema and that is a reason what really attracted me here and if we keep this combination going, if every filmmaker keeps this in his head that good literature makes good cinema, we will be making better films.

It was a wonderful experience being part of this great festival. Always very friendly communication. We're very honoured with the award. Thank you!

This is a very important initiative and I am sure it continues year after year.

It is a unique event bringing together the laureates and filmmakers and I hope the discussions between the inter relationship of cinema and literature will be very fruitful and It will go a long way... the best thing about the festival is that it is addressing the young generations... Youth are here in a large number and I hope they are learning a lot from such amazing sessions.

I think it's a great idea to have films and literature in the same festival, makes a lot of sense because stories are often told via books and then made into the films these days. So it's always nice to hear multiple voices and transfer that work into films... so its belong together.
