YathaKatha International Film & Literature Festival (YKIFLF) is a celebration of cinema & literature under one roof to bridge the gap between two beautiful related art forms and to re-engage the world with the mesmerising world of stories & their presentation.
Our long-term goal is to be a torch in raising awareness regarding the importance of both the arts in a challenging world climate and create an environment that facilitates in-depth discussions and share the insights about the legendary art forms and give the best presentation to the world.

Surrounded with the thoughts of eternal stories and the culture of storytelling around the world, the idea of YathaKatha International Film & Literature Festival (YKIFLF) grew up slowly with a long research and depth planning. It’s successful showcase year by year is the result of a niche execution with a clear goal.
Launched in 2021 by Charru Sharma and a group of creative professionals and proven to be the finest international cinema and literature festival together, YathaKatha International Film & Literature Festival (YKIFLF) is an extremely important and independent showcase, inspired by the fruitful interaction of arts – cinema and literature, in particular.
Cinema & Literature a complement of each other have been sharing an intimate connection ever since the invention of the silver screen. YKIFLF is the perfect occasion to draw a parallel between these two deeply interconnected art forms and keep inspiring their audiences to an endless imaginary world.
YKIFLF is not only a festival but it is also a place to discuss cinema and literature under one deck wherein there will be screenings of competing films, book launches, award ceremony along with a number of educational events, like literary presentations, various panel discussions, open forums and master classes etc. The festival maintains long-lasting partnerships with all individuals, companies and cultural institutes in India and abroad.
