Madhushree (Sujata Bhattacharya

When Madhushree sings, smile raises, soul gratifies and even time stops.

Madhushree (Sujata Bhattacharya) hails from a musical family and has music in her genes. After receiving the early training of classical music under her father late Mr. Amarendranath Bhattacharya, she got the privilege to perform on stage at the age of 5.

Her musical training erupted and polished under the guidance of a noted classical and semi- classical artist, Sangeetacharya Pt. Amiya Ranjan Bandyopadhyay of the Bishnupur Gharana who was the disciple of late Ustad Amir Khan Sahib of Kirana Gharana. Later she learned the soulful and expressive art and style of Thumri from late Pt. A.T. Kanan.

Time, training, talent and her melodious voice transformed this child prodigy to global sensation. After doing M.A. in classical music and 3 years of teaching in South America at Indian Council of Cultural Relations, she returned back to India and gained fame and instant stardom with the series of chartbusters including-:

• Kabhi Neem Neem (from Yuva) • Tu Bin Bataye (from Rang De Basanti) • In Lamhon Ke Daaman Mein (from Jodha Akbar) • Hum Hain Iss Pal Yahan (from Kisnaa) • Naina Milaike (from Saathiya) • Mahi Ve (from Kal Ho Na Ho) • Pal Pal Hai Bhaari- (from Swades) • Kangna Re (from Paheli) • Soja Zara (from Bahubali 2-The Conclusion) And many more

The talented Indian playback-singer, songwriter, and philanthropist found her big breakthrough when Oscar Winner composer A.R. Rahman casted her as a voice of ground breaking song in Yuva (Kabhi Neem Neem). There were other supporters who tapped into her prodigious talent like Rajesh Roshan, Bappi Lahiri, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Pritam and M.M Kreem.

Madhushree ability to transcend genres is evident in her private albums as well particularly Lagi Lagan in which she flits between semi-classical and fusion, even thumri and then in Pal Ek Ehsaas in which she belts out numbers based on hard rock, soul and hip hop. She has also experimented with jazz as her latest single from Zee Music, Bawraa Na Bann testifies. Apart from playback and other recording commitments, Madhushree has been making regular television appearances, the most recent being an ongoing music reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee Bangla as a judge along with other celebrities Jeet Ganguly, Kumar Sanu, Shantanu Moitra and Palak Muchhal. She is enjoying the success of Soja Zara Bahubali 2-The Conclusion. Soon she will be judging India’s biggest musical reality show named 7 Colours Of Music as a main judge.

Manoj Kumar's cinema encompassed popular ingredients like melodious songs, a surfeit of glamour and jingoistic dialogue that infused the audience with nationalistic pride. By contrasting the inherent richness of Indian tradition with the materialistic western society (often a selective view), Manoj had multitudes reaching out to shake his flag-waving hand. After a string of hits as an actor-filmmaker, Manoj carved a strongly individualistic niche for himself.

Manoj Kumar was counted among the most talanted and dedicated actors, who made his directorial debut with ``Upkaar``. This film was said to be inspired by the former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri's widespread slogan ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kissan’. In 1992, he was awarded with the Padma Shri by the Government of India. India's highest award in cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, was awarded to him in 2015. He bagged National Award, FilmFare awards among other prestigious honours.
