Her musical training erupted and polished under the guidance of a noted classical and semi- classical artist, Sangeetacharya Pt. Amiya Ranjan Bandyopadhyay of the Bishnupur Gharana who was the disciple of late Ustad Amir Khan Sahib of Kirana Gharana. Later she learned the soulful and expressive art and style of Thumri from late Pt. A.T. Kanan.

Time, training, talent and her melodious voice transformed this child prodigy to global sensation. After doing M.A. in classical music and 3 years of teaching in South America at Indian Council of Cultural Relations, she returned back to India and gained fame and instant stardom with the series of chartbusters including-:

She is enjoying the success of Soja Zara Bahubali 2-The Conclusion. Soon she will be judging India’s biggest musical reality show named 7 Colours Of Music as a main judge.
